Perfumes are differentiated by their fragrance from perfume oils concentration. The concentration determines the strength of the perfume and its lasting power. The higher the concentration of the perfume oil, the longer-lasting will the smell of the perfume is. Below are the various types of perfumes and how it is being differentiated:1. After-shave. After-shave has the lowest concentration of the perfume oil, containing only about 0.5% to 2.0% of perfume oil. After-shave is ideal for daily use by men to use as a salve after shaving.

4. The next higher perfume oil concentration is eau de parfum. It consist perfume oil concentration of about 8.0% to 15.0%. Price for this type of perfume is obviously much expensive compared to the previous three. The fragrance is strong and its effect is long-lasting.
5. The highest quality of perfumes belongs to "parfum". Ò It is totally undiluted and contains the highest concentration of perfume oil between 15% - 30%. Just one drop of this perfume is enough to leave the fragrance smell long-lasting. However, this type of perfume is very expensive and not many people can afford it.
